After putting to rest rumors that he and fiancée, Whitney Bischoff, are on the rocks, Chris Soules has sparked rumors of his own: that he and his lady already tied the knot!

A photo posted by Prince Farming to Instagram has fans wondering.

“Some of our corn planted last Monday, just about to emerge. Looks good!” he captioned the casual snap of a hand holding a tiny corn plant… and sporting a wedding band!

There’s a handful of options here. We know Chris has been in Los Angeles filming Dancing with the Stars, so there’s a possibility this isn’t even his hand — it could be a family member’s or a farm worker’s. It’s also possible the ring is just a fashion statement. And engagement rings for men aren’t common, but aren’t unheard of, so maybe it’s that.

Or maybe it’s a wedding band.

E! News reports that a source told them it’s probably a false alarm, since Chris was on a flight back from New York when the photo was posted and not anywhere near his corn crop. But we still can’t help but wonder, and we’re not the only ones.

And just think — if the Bachelor alums did secretly say their “I dos,” their first dance must have been amazing, considering all the training Chris has been getting on DWTS (despite his unfortunate elimination Tuesday night).

E! News says ABC reps have yet to respond to questions about the possibility of a wedding, but if it did happen, congratulations, Chris and Whit! (And boo for not letting us watch it on TV.)
