When our favorite on-screen power chick took a seat on Jimmy Fallon‘s couch on Wednesday night, we didn’t know it would be quite so hilarious.
The usually demure in real life Washington flexed her comedy chops, letting herself get a little unguarded on The Tonight Show. She told Jimmy she was thrilled to be there and that she thought he was doing such a good job that she even wanted to interview herself.
And, of course, you know what that means, one of Fallon’s more hilarious skits, Lip Flip.
We didn’t think it could get any funnier than Jennifer Aniston’s version of Lip Flip, but Washington and Fallon proved us wrong.
Both of them matched their movements to the other’s words flawlessly, and it doesn’t get any funnier than the weird accents each of them gave the other. Just when you thought it couldn’t get any more hilarious, they break into a “Scandal in the Wind,” sung to the tune of… you guessed it, Sir Elton John’s perfect ballad “Candle in the Wind.”
