Reese Witherspoon and her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe are known to be one of the most amicable divorced couples. And while they have been praised for their maturity, it looks as though things may be starting to sour.

According to new reports, the Wild actress is eager to keep her two children, daughter Ava, 15, and son Deacon, 11, away from Phillippe because he’s reportedly become somewhat of a party animal.
According to OK! magazine, earlier this year when the actor was partying at Coachella, he didn’t have very nice things to say about his former wife, because he allegedly referred to her as “my f***ing bitch ex-wife.”

Now a source has revealed to In Touch that the Cruel Intentions actor “thinks Reese is trying to cut him out of the kids’ lives because she’s cutting back on his time with them.
“Reese has been blaming the kids’ busy school schedule, but the reason Ryan thinks she isn’t letting them see him is that she doesn’t like his lifestyle. She thinks he parties way too much and doesn’t want Ava and Deacon around that.”

But according to the source, Phillippe feels that Witherspoon’s logic is flawed and that he should be allowed to live his life the way he sees fit.
“He doesn’t understand why Reese is trying to tell him how to live his life — Ava and Deacon are honor students, and when they are with him, they do their homework,” the source told the publication. “He takes good care of those kids and is very angry with Reese right now.”
If the reports are true, let’s hope that the former couple is able to work out their differences for the sake of their children.
