There was a time when fans were convinced Tori Spelling and her husband Dean McDermott were headed for divorce, but even with the odds stacked against them, they appear to have made their marriage work.

The couple celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary on Thursday, and the 90210 star decided to prove to the world that she and her hubby are still very much in love. Taking to Instagram, she posted a loving snap along with the caption, “9 years ago I married the love of my life….”
The couple’s rocky relationship has been well-documented and played out on their reality TV show, True Tori. But it looks as though they may have managed to work through their problems. And Spelling was certainly in a contemplative mood on Thursday as she shared another Instagram snap with some words of encouragement.

One thing is evident: Spelling and McDermott still have a lot of people rooting for them.
“I’m so glad u two are doing well!! I soooo loved ur show Tori and Dean Home Sweet Hollywood!! Congrats to u both for getting ur ‘happy’ back!!” one fan wrote.
Another comment read, “Happy Anniversary! Marriage is a journey. It’s harder to stay together and get through the shit! Especially in public. You both are amazing!”

And one fan shared a touching message of how she went through a similar situation, writing, “@torispelling as a mom of 2 and someone who was cheated on I give you a lot of credit for trying to make it work and in the public eye no less. I too tried and unfortunately couldn’t do it but because he couldn’t stop cheating. Always follow your heart and do what’s best for you and your kids regardless if your [sic] a celeb or a regular person like me. I wish you and @imdeanmcdermott and the kids the best. I’ve watched you since your days on saved by the bell and then bh90210. Good luck!”
