Gigi Hadid may be rebounding with another famous musician after Cody Simpson

Gigi Hadid is following in the footsteps of Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift.

No, she isn’t planning on starting a music career (that we know of). Rather, the Sports Illustrated model is rumored to be dating Joe Jonas now that she and Cody Simpson have called it quits… again.

E! Online spotted Hadid and Jonas grabbing lunch together at Cheebo in West Hollywood on Wednesday, which, of course, started the rumor mill about their relationship and if it could be more than friends.

Of course, news of Hadid’s split from her longtime boyfriend, Simpson, just broke last weekend.

“They love each other dearly and have split up in hopes that growing on their own paths will bring them together in the future,” a rep for Hadid explained. Which makes it sound like things between these two are far from over. They are, after all, still just teenagers.

Jonas, on the other hand, hasn’t been confirmed as being with anyone since he dated model, Blanda Eggenschwiler. The two dated for about two years but broke up last summer.

TMZ reports that Hadid and Jonas are longtime friends and describes the two as “making puppy dog eyes” at one another. Meaning, if there is something going on between these two, it’s in the very early stages.

From the photos released of the pair, it looks like they had a great time together out and about. They even took some time to look at some puppies at a place called Bark N’ Bitches, also according to TMZ, but no purchases of new furry friends were made.
