Kendall and Kylie Jenner might get lots of love online, but in real life, not so much.
At least that was the case on Sunday at the Billboard Music Awards.
When the reality TV star sisters got on stage to introduce their brother-in-law, Kanye West, things got awkward. Kendall, who was the spitting image of her mother with her slicked back hair while (of course) Kylie could have been big sister Kim if you weren’t paying close attention, looked happy enough to be there.
But the crowd around them was not at all happy to see them on stage, and the young models got booed pretty hard. There were a few cheers and yells in favor of the pair, and they soldiered on with their introduction like professionals. According to Us Weekly, which spoke with a guest at the awards, the jeers were not coming from the celebrities and stars surrounding Kylie and Kendall but from the upper decks of the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

But wait, it didn’t stop with just the Jenner hate. The crowd made it known it wasn’t happy about West’s performance either.
Kanye’s closing performance was much anticipated throughout the night, but it ended on a pretty sour note. The “All Day” artist’s performance was so pyrotechnically enhanced that he was enveloped in a cloud of flame and smoke almost entirely throughout his performance. And to make matters worse, the at-home audience got to hear almost an entire minute of silence as he was continually censored for his lyrics.
Sources for Us Weekly said West was booed at the end of his performance as well.

Not quite sure why the Keeping Up With the Kardashians stars were booed, if it was just general disenchantment or something in particular, but one thing’s for sure: It was all-around not a very good night for the Kardashian clan.
