The most compelling episodes of Keeping up with the Kardashians yet began airing last night, and what we saw could be the most real the family has ever gotten on TV.
While we saw Bruce explain his transition on his ABC special, the Kardashians and the youngest Jenner girls did not participate, so we didn’t know the full extent of their emotions — until now.
The episode was full of tears and confusion amid strong support for their father. Khloé was the angriest, but her feelings had only to do with one thing: she felt lied to.

As Khloé angrily explained, the girls had no idea how quickly Bruce planned to complete his transition, which led them to wonder how long they had until the father they knew all their lives ceased to exist.
“You have children,” she said. “You don’t need our permission, but you need to tell us… When is Bruce gonna be gone? Do you have a time frame?… I don’t care that you want to do it — I support you, I’ve always supported you. I don’t think it’s fair that you don’t tell us how close this is in the near future. We’re still your kids. I don’t care how old I am.”

The real fear was quickly exposed: that Bruce was going to disappear, replaced by his new persona.
Kendall revealed the girls found a secret stash of makeup years ago, but thought it was for a far different purpose. “We would find things like makeup or lipstick and we thought he was having an affair at one point and we didn’t know what to do,” she said. “We didn’t want our family to be broken up. So we wouldn’t tell anybody.”
Khloé later showed up at Bruce’s Malibu home bearing gifts: women’s clothing, a gesture that visibly moved him.
