Chris Pratt reveals how shallow famous people really are

Chris Pratt‘s Hollywood star is on the rise. But there was a time before he starred in big blockbuster films like Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy when other actors did not give him the time of day, let alone acknowledge his presence.

Pratt has been married to Anna Faris since 2009, and for most of their marriage she has been the more famous one. That’s all changing now, but Pratt recalls some less-than-pleasant encounters with actors when he was not the famous one in the relationship. In fact, he recently revealed to GQ magazine how some famous people actually made him feel as though he was invisible.

“I’ve had those moments,” he says, “where I was, like, the guy holding the purse at events and people just looked right through me. And, you know, actors come up and just blatantly hit on my wife in front of me and don’t even look at me. I’m like, ‘What the f***, dude?’ I can think of exactly who they are, too, and I hope they f***ing audition for Guardians of the Galaxy.” He begins filming for the sequel next February.

And it was not just actors who proved to be fickle, but also other industry professionals.

“Also, producers and studio people now who will come up to me and treat me the same way that they were treating Anna. They’re like, ‘I always knew…’ I’m like, ‘Is that right? That’s interesting, because you f***ing stared right through me the last time…'” Pratt explained.

Sounds like Pratt still has some anger reserved for those who treated him like he was nothing, but he’s certainly proving them wrong.
