Teen Mom OG star, Farrah Abraham, isn’t exactly anyone’s favorite teen mom. During her time in the spotlight, she’s made some pretty sketchy moves. Is it time for her to leave the show?

One massive Teen Mom fan thinks so. As a matter of fact, she’s so desperate to see Abraham out the door, she’s started a petition on Change.org. The fan, Siobhain Perez, makes a pretty solid argument when she calls for the firing of Abraham.
“I have been a fan of this show since the beginning and believe Farrah has always been a mean girl on the show,” Perez writes. “I think she brings a lot of negativity to this show and I believe this turns many people away from the show. I hate to see a woman tear down amazing moms and do not think this is fair. If I had to choose I would rather watch a show that only had Maci, Catelynn, and Amber.”

Her harsh criticism is backed by more than 100 supporters and a litany of comments supporting her claims. Abraham’s sex tape isn’t the only thing keeping Teen Mom viewers in a tizzy. They just don’t like how she treats the other moms, the example she sets for young girls or the negative light she shines on young moms. We get where they’re coming from, of course. Being a teen mom already places these girls under a microscope, just waiting for others to judge them. Abraham’s actions give haters the impression that they’re right.
Perez could consider all Abraham has been through, though, and try to be a little kinder. When Abraham was eight months pregnant, the father of her child and the love of her life died in a car accident. A few years later, she had to separate herself from her mother because she was being abusive. She’s put herself through culinary school and, yes, in an attempt to make some more money, she made an adult film. While she chose to make a film, she didn’t choose to be sexually assaulted afterwards, which she claims happened multiple times during the press tour that followed. Abraham realizes she has issues, though, and even went so far as to attend Couples Therapy on her own in order to move past the issues.
Has she really moved on and gotten back on track? We’ll have to tune in to Teen Mom OG to find out.
