We’re thrilled that Willis walked away as the winner, but as happy as she is herself, she honestly couldn’t have done it without her dancing pro partner. And we love all the amazing things she has to say about him.

During an interview with Us Weekly, Willis gushed about Chmerkovskiy and their win.

“Honestly, I’m happy for myself but I’m so unbelievably proud of him,” she told the mag. “To go through this journey — I’ve only been through it one time and it’s a lot. You put so much of yourself into it, and I can’t imagine putting so much of yourself into it and then having your name not called, and so I feel like I’m happy for me and I’m so excited and proud for me but I’m so unbelievably happy and proud of him.”

Willis’ mom Demi Moore also had some touching things to say about her daughter and her time on the competition, as she revealed to Us Weekly just how amazing she thinks she is.
