Is Giudice allowed internet access while serving time in the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut, for fraud? There was some confusion among fans when she tweeted a message thanking them for their continued support, with people asking whether she had been released from jail or if she had now been granted internet access. Neither has happened.

But here’s what did: speaking to E! News, Giudice’s attorney James Leonard Jr. said, “Teresa absolutely did not send the tweet herself. She doesn’t have access to Twitter.”

However, she does have a plan for further communication with her fans while behind bars.

“The message came from her. She asked her daughter Gia to please post it,” Leonard continued. “She wanted to thank her fans for the hundreds, if not thousands, of pieces of mail that she’s received since she’s been incarcerated. In particular, she received an outpouring of kind words and support on her birthday. She’s truly grateful.

“While she’s finishing her sentence, she may continue to communicate with her fans this way,” he added.
