‘90s kids rejoice!
Girl Meets World is giving us yet another reason to be nostalgic for the “good old days.”
Another one of our favorite coming-of-age couples will make an appearance on the Boy Meets World spinoff. Rider Strong, who played Shawn Hunter, and Trina McGee, who played Shawn’s girlfriend Angela Moore, will both guest-star in an upcoming episode of the throwback reboot. You’ll remember Strong’s character was lead character Cory Matthews’s best friend.

But according to Girl Meets World creator Michael Jacobs, there is no happy ending for these former teenage lovebirds, the way all our hopes and dreams were fulfilled when we learned Topanga and Cory got together in the end.
Jacobs says, “You guys are going to kill me for what we decided to do with Shawn and Angela, but I will tell you that it is right, it is real, and you’re going to have to watch the episode six times before you put the guns down.” Well, if that isn’t ominous and foreboding, I don’t know what is!

Yes, we are all now collectively wringing our hands and chewing our fingernails trying to figure it out! What does this mean?!
Alas, as Jacobs says, we will have to wait and watch and find out. But in the meantime, Annie, get your gun. We need to be ready.
