Kim Kardashian is not impressed with all the South West buzz.
And she’s taking the baby naming in a different direction this time around.

During an appearance on the NPR show “Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me” on Saturday, the pregnant reality star explained, “I don’t like South West, though, because North will always be better and she has a better direction. So I wouldn’t do that. I don’t think we’ll go with another direction. Everyone keeps on saying South, and I think it’s so stupid. It’s the stupidest thing ever.”
And while Southwest Airlines is probably breathing a sigh of relief, the rest of us are kind of disappointed at the family name greatness that could have been.
And just why, exactly, North is so cool yet South is the “stupidest thing ever” remains a mystery.

Luckily, Kardashian and hubby Kanye West still have some time to change their minds about the direction theme. The baby, who Us Weekly confirmed last week is a boy this time around, has an expected due date at the end of this year.
And the poor little guy will, no doubt, have his hands full with big sister North, who turns 2 today.
“She’s really particular about what she likes to wear,” Kardashian revealed to Vogue back in April. “She’s such a girlie girl. Every day she wakes up and says ‘shoes.’ You have to bargain with her — before you change her diaper she needs a pair of shoes on.”

Although, if Kanye’s style is any indication, their little boy will also have a particular eye for fashion.
It’s important to note, however, that Kardashian is staying tight-lipped on confirming the sex just yet.
“We actually haven’t told anyone the sex,” she said, according to People. “I heard that we’re having a boy. I heard that we’re having twins. I heard that I’m not even carrying my own baby. I’ve heard so many things and most of that information is not true.”
Good thing South isn’t a gender-specific name… just sayin’.
