Cheryl Fernandez-Versini spilled the beans on Twitter this morning, revealing that Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw will be joining her and Simon Cowell at the X Factor 2015 judges table.
It’s another big change for the show this year after Dermot O’Leary left after eight years, with Olly Murs and Caroline Flack ready to take over hosting duties.
Radio One breakfast show host Grimmy seems pretty excited about the whole thing, saying:
“I love X Factor and have watched the series religiously since it started, so obviously I’m hugely excited to be joining the show. Music is my job and my passion and I’m really looking forward to seeing what talent we can find and nurture this year. I can’t wait for Judges Houses in Oldham!”
Cheryl’s clearly just as excited as we are about the new additions, saying:
“I haven’t been as excited about an X Factor season since I first became a judge. The addition of Rita and Grimmy along with some interesting changes we’ve made to the format has refocused us to do what we do best, finding talent and making stars. I cannot wait to get started!”

We know Simon Cowell likes to poach ladies from the BBC, having successfully lured Alesha Dixon from Strictly Come Dancing to Britain’s Got Talent, and he’s done it again this year persuading Rita Ora to move from The Voice to X Factor.
“I am excited to be coming back to The X Factor – I had a ball here in 2012,” Rita said. “This is a journey I can’t wait to embark on to find some talented singers. It’s the new generation taking over. Booooom.”
The X Factor is back on ITV in August.
