Donald Trump‘s big mouth has cost him a major deal — but he’s not taking it lying down.
Trump has been fired by NBC for making racist statements about Mexicans while discussing illegal immigration when he announced he is running for president.
“At NBC, respect and dignity for all people are cornerstones of our values,” the network said in a statement. “Due to the recent derogatory statements by Donald Trump regarding immigrants, NBCUniversal is ending its business relationship with Mr. Trump. To that end, the annual Miss USA and Miss Universe Pageants, which are part of a joint venture between NBC and Trump, will no longer air on NBC.
“In addition, as Mr. Trump has already indicated, he will not be participating in The Apprentice on NBC. Celebrity Apprentice is licensed from Mark Burnett’s United Artists Media Group and that relationship will continue.”
Trump took the news in typical Trump style: by threatening a lawsuit.

This response was second only to Trump’s temper tantrum Friday, when he told Univision employees they could no longer use his golf course after they dumped the Spanish-language simulcast of the Miss Universe pageant scheduled to air July 12.
