Hank Baskett is finally telling the whole story of the cheating scandal that nearly ended his marriage to Kendra Wilkinson, and it is absolutely nuts.
Baskett, who reportedly had an affair with a transgender model after finding her photo online when his wife was eight months pregnant, said that while he is not entirely innocent, that isn’t exactly the way it went down.
“I messed up,” he told People. “I put myself in a bad situation. And everything through me brought pain upon this family.”
The football star explained exactly what happened: It all started with a drug deal gone wrong. Baskett said that a couple smoking weed in a grocery store parking lot gave him a number to call to buy some for himself. When he went to the seller’s house, he used the restroom, and when he came out, “I saw something I thought I would never see in my life,” he said.
Two transgender women were naked and making out in front of him — and one began to fondle him through his shorts.
“I didn’t engage in anything,” he said. “It was like a bank robbery. You never know when you’ll freeze. I don’t know if it was a couple of seconds or 15 seconds, because all I was saying was get out, get out, get out.”
Baskett insists nothing else happened, despite the story the woman later sold to the tabloids, and his long silence on the incident had nothing to do with guilt, but everything to do with shame.
“I was this big former football player,” he said. “I was the alpha male. I could do anything to protect my family, but I couldn’t protect myself.”

Wilkinson’s reaction to the tabloid rumors was caught on camera for the couple’s reality show, including flushing her wedding ring down the toilet, kicking him out of the house and threatening divorce, all when their baby was just five weeks old.
“I couldn’t control my emotions,” she admitted, but added that it’s easy to believe Baskett would be hoodwinked so easily. “Hank was very naïve and gullible,” she said. “He thinks everybody is his friend. That led him to the hell that we’ve lived.”
Wait, who’s the gullible one? Is it Hank for being led into a honeytrap? Is it Wilkinson for thinking something like this actually happens in the real world? Or is it us for buying this nonsensical story?
Why would a celebrity approach strangers in a parking lot for pot? We’re supposed to believe he didn’t already have a hookup? His wife lived in the Playboy Mansion for crying out loud. How did the woman know who he was to even think of telling the story? His face isn’t that recognizable. Did he give his real name to total strangers from whom he was buying drugs? How did she get his phone number for the extortion attempt? What is really going on here, Hank?
Because we’re not buying it. In fact, at this point, it’s not out of the realm of possibility that the entire scandal was totally fabricated for ratings and cash.
