Taking to Instagram on Sunday, the “Heart Attack” hit maker posted a picture of herself lounging on a recliner, wearing a pink and white floral romper. She captioned the image, “Learn to lurrrrrvveee yerrrrr currrrrvveees. I actually used to hate them… But then a special someone helped me learn how to love them… And he sure loves them…. #squats #COOLFORTHESUMMER.”
In the image, the pop star’s legs are on display and — judging from her pose and the inspiring caption — Lovato is loving her life and her body. But that hasn’t stopped her critics from posting hurtful and extremely unnecessary comments about her.

“Still fat,” one critic wrote. There were many who were equally as harsh about Lovato’s body, with several of the comments about how she is “fat.”
One critic even went so far as to say that their eyes were burning after seeing the picture of Lovato. The comment reads, “*screams* my eyes! They burn.”
There are others who have slammed Lovato for being a hypocrite, with one critic writing, “Is really funny how you look (sic) pride about your body now, but when you was more (sic) fatter, you have passed all your life hating it… And after all of this you still tell your fans to don’t (sic) care about their appearances, when yourself did it as f***. Why? Just because you are a little more skinny you love your body? Oh god you are a such hypocrite.”
