Michelle and Jim Bob’s niece, Amy, is officially engaged to her boyfriend, Dillon King.
The 28-year-old guest star of the Duggar family’s 19 Kids and Counting reality show made the big announcement via her Instagram, where she shared a sweet photo of herself and her beau holding hands, showing off a gorgeous oval-cut diamond.

“I’m so happy to announce…WE ARE ENGAGED!!!! He loves the Lord, he makes me laugh uncontrollably, he’s loyal, he’s patient, he’s my best friend! Of course I said yes!! l love you so much! @kingdillpickle #DillandDuggsforever,” she captioned the photo.

Amy and her boyfriend are less conservative than many of the Duggars and didn’t adhere to the strict dating rules other Duggars have made famous, which limit hand-holding until after the couple is engaged and say the first kiss must take place at the altar.
It’s even more apparent in the photo Dillon shared on his Instagram: a collage that includes a snap of the pair sharing a sweet kiss.
“Well everyone…WE ARE ENGAGED!!!! @amyduggar I asked you to be my fiancee not just because I love you right now. I got down on one knee because you are the only woman I have and will truly love forever!!! Xoxo,” Dillon captioned his announcement.
