The 2015 ESPN ESPYs were filled with emotional moments that brought laughs and many tears.
And, quite frankly, more tears than laughs. So we thought we would bring you the most tearjerking moments from the night.
Tribute videos to young athletes gone too soon, a little girl fighting for her life during chemotherapy treatments and, of course, Caitlyn Jenner’s touching speech are a few of the moments that brought us to tears.

1. Danielle Green accepting the Pat Tillman Award for Service
Green was a basketball standout at Notre Dame and entered the service after graduating, where she proudly and honorably served our country. She lost her arm fighting for our freedom. Her touching story of how her fellow servicemen went back to find her lost wedding bands is too much.
2. Lauren Hill tribute
This one is a story you might already know, but that doesn’t stop the waterworks when you watch her parents step on the stage, hand in hand, to accept this ESPY. Lauren lost her battle in early April and her tribute video will certainly bring tears to your eyes and maybe even help you live your life a little more in the moment.

3. Devon and Leah Still accepting Jimmy V. Perseverance Award
There is nothing more difficult to watch than a child going through cancer, but a loving father struggling to deal with the fallout that comes with having a child with cancer is a close second. By the end of this speech, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
4. Caitlyn Jenner accepts the Arthur Ashe Courage Award
With an introduction from Abby Wambach that gave grave statistics about the transgender community, you knew there was no chance of getting through this one without a tear. And as Caitlyn Jenner prepared to step on the stage to accept the Arthur Ashe Courage Award, giving everyone what they were looking most forward to all night, we waited with bated breath to hear what she would say. Her speech is moving, from beginning to end, and will make you think, feel and cry.
