Devon Still posts photo of his ‘fighter’ daughter with her ESPY

Leah Still is one brave and tenacious little girl.

And hearing her father, Devon Still of the Cincinnati Bengals, talk about his daughter’s fight against cancer will move you to tears. On Wednesday night at the 2015 ESPN ESPY Awards, LeBron James presented the Stills with the Jimmy V. Perseverance Award.

Devon took the stage to thank family, friends, fans and his team for their support through Leah’s battle. Doctors didn’t give Leah the clearance to travel to accept the award for herself, but Devon melted all our hearts one more time by posting a photo Thursday of his adorable little daughter holding her newly earned award for being a brave, courageous fighter.

He captioned the photo, echoing his acceptance speech sentiments, saying, “This espy [sic] might have both of our names on it but this is Leah’s trophy! Like I said last night what I do is easy, she has the hard job. Like a true fighter she showed true perseverance throughout her battle with cancer and I couldn’t be any prouder. #leahstrong.”
