Teen Mom star Catelynn Lowell has been battling to shed the pounds since giving birth to her second daughter, Novalee — something that most moms can relate to — but the comments about her weight are really becoming nasty.

Lowell recently celebrated her 10-year anniversary with the love of her life, Tyler Baltierra, and the pair are planning to tie the knot later this year. And, as their big day nears, the reality TV star recently celebrated her bridal shower.
On Monday, Lowell took to Instagram to share a series of snaps from her special party — which included a crown that reads “BRIDE” and toilet paper dresses — but instead of focusing on the good things, and the fact that it’s a milestone occasion in her life, unfortunately, Lowell’s weight has become the focus of the pictures and overshadowed her happiness.

Comments include, “I love her but I guess she didn’t try hard enough to lose weight,” “I thought she lost a bunch of weight..”, “Wait, this is present day? I thought @catelynnmtv was on her weight loss journey and was actually losing?? It doesn’t appear so from the pics tho..,” and “Aww you didn’t lose any weight for the wedding ! You look great but thought you would try to lose some for the wedding just for yourself.”
Another commenter shared, “Why is everyone acting like her being overweight is “baby weight?” this girl has always been obese. She looked nine months pregnant when she got pregnant again. She has zero education zero ambition and doesn’t take care of herself hygenically [sic]. “

These comments are hurtful and unnecessary. No matter what her size, Catelynn is going to look beautiful on her wedding day because she will be happy, healthy and above all, in love.
