Cindy Crawford is one of the most beautiful women in the world, but when she posted a topless photo on Instagram, many of her critics failed to see the artistic value of the picture, and instead blasted her for the “distasteful” and “disappointing” image.

On Thursday, Crawford posted the throwback picture of herself posing next to a tree, which she captioned, “#TBT tree hugger. A little inspiration for our woodsy summer holiday. @sebastian_faena.” But the supermodel was probably not expecting the negative backlash that she promptly received.
Critics have commented on everything from how much they don’t like her choice of apparel: “Awkward pic. Dad jeans?” and “You look like you’re wearing your father’s jeans,” to how they find the photo inappropriate.

“Sorry Cindy but I don’t like this photo, just look so distasteful,” one upset fan wrote. And others agreed. Comments include, “I expected you to have more class! Disappointing!,” “Yuck,” “And her son sees this?” and, “You are so gorgeous but this pic doesn’t do you justice #ouch.”

With comments about her son seeing this, we have to wonder if the outcry over the picture is perhaps only because she is a mom. Before this picture, Crawford shared several amazing snaps of herself and her family enjoying their summer vacation — which got a much more positive reaction.
