Blake Shelton is reportedly making everyone on The Voice feel super awkward

Blake Shelton is back at work on The Voice, but that doesn’t mean he’s moving on from Miranda Lambert.

According to RadarOnline, things have been super tense since the longtime judge returned for his Season 9 filming duties.

The outlet is reporting that Shelton refuses to discuss his recently revealed divorce from Miranda Lambert, but no one is fooled about his current stressed-out condition.

A well-connected NBC insider explained, “Blake has made it very clear that he does not want anyone to bring up her name in any way, shape or form.

“It is extremely tense on set because you can see how pissed off and upset he is,” the source continued. “But he is trying to pretend like everything is just peachy. It’s like it is the pink elephant in every room that he is in.”

Though Lambert and Shelton have reportedly been separated for quite some time now, news of their divorce just broke last week, and the reports about how the two are handling the separation have been anything but amicable.

And while Shelton is apparently not taking the fact that the news is public well, sources also say that “Miranda has never been a topic to begin with” while Shelton was on set.

“He always acted like he was single,” the source explained, “and would constantly flirt with not only the girls in production, but also with some of the girls that he mentored.”

Meanwhile, the rest of The Voice judges seem to also be avoiding the topic, at least publicly, including Shelton’s good pal Adam Levine, who mostly recently brought up Blake only to lovably trash-talk him.

And though Levine may not be publicly commenting on his friend’s breakup, Hollywood Life is reporting that behind the scenes, it’s another story.

According to their source, “Blake, Adam and Carson [Daly] consider each other brothers from another mother. Carson and Adam have been there for Blake all along, and have known what Blake has been going through with Miranda.”
