RHOC‘s Meghan Edmonds makes bold claims about Vicki Gunvalson’s love life

Real Housewives of Orange County newcomer Meghan King Edmonds is definitely not the first newbie to be put through the ringer by the OG of the OC, Vicki Gunvalson, but she might be the first to have the cojones to give it right back to her.

It’s no secret that Edmonds and Gunvalson have butted heads during Edmonds’ short tenure with the franchise, as referenced during the latest episode of the show on Monday night. During the installment, Gunvalson made rude comments about the amount of time that Edmonds and her husband, Jim, spend apart, and made the usual judgements about Edmonds not having a job and ergo not working as hard toward a real career as herself.

“What’s Meghan going to do when Jim moves on to wife number four?” Gunvalson wondered out loud at one point in the episode.

Though Edmonds took the high road just days ago while discussing her feud with another RHOC castmate, Shannon Beador, she took the opportunity during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live on Monday to defend the state of her marriage in her usual calm, collected way, and sling a little mud at Gunvalson’s relationship with on-again, off-again boyfriend Brooks Ayers.

“I think it’s pretty clear what’s happening here,” Edmonds said in response to a caller who asked what she thought about Gunvalson’s proclivity toward judging other people’s relationships, but flying off the handle when anyone sticks their nose in her business with Ayers. “It’s a deflection. It’s some kind of insecurity that is playing out as an attack on me.”

Basically, Edmonds thinks Gunvalson’s relationship isn’t going that great, so she’s making herself feel better about it by tearing down hers.

Edmonds’ allegations about Gunvalson and Brooks may or may not be true, but they certainly make sense. The evaluation could also apply to why Gunvalson is always saying that no one works as hard as she does. She’s judging everyone else’s work ethic, but she might just have a weird phobia that she’s never working hard enough, so she projects that feeling onto others.

Whether Edmonds is right or not, the feud is far from over and her recent statements most likely added fuel to the fire. “It’s not going to end soon,” Edmonds said on WWHL, adding that Gunvalson can also be very “manipulative.”
