RHOC‘s Tamra Judge reveals how she overcame her darkest moment

Tamra Judge was so devastated by the custody battle she went through during her divorce proceedings from Simon Barney that she contemplated the unthinkable.

The Real Housewives of Orange County star said that during the bitter battle with Barney over the couple’s three children, she was so low that she considered suicide.

“I got very depressed,” Judge told In Touch Weekly. “There were times where I didn’t want to wake up and live.”

The reality star eventually gave up custody of her daughter, Sidney, to her ex after Barney claimed Judge’s TV notoriety was causing the teen’s extreme anxiety, and she said she reached the lowest of lows because of it — until her spirituality saved her.

“I was in the lowest place I’d ever been in my life,” she claimed. “As a family, we started to go to church to help with the pain.”

She even taped her baptism for an upcoming episode of RHOC. “My original plan was not to do it on camera,” she explained. “But after talking to my pastor, he told me that it could be very helpful for other people.”

It’s a good thing Judge has found a source of comfort, because her family troubles are far from over. Her son, Ryan Vieth, was recently arrested on domestic abuse charges, leaving his mom to angrily defend him on social media.
