According to the site, Alexander was charged with one count of promoting a sexual performance by a child and one count of possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child after an investigator traced the download to his home. Reportedly, Alexander downloaded the content July 25. He was arrested July 29.

“A forensic examination of computers and external hard drives removed from the location revealed digital files of children who are less than 16 years of age engaged in child pornography,” the district attorney’s office said in a statement.

Alexander’s bail was set at $10,000. His first court appearance has been scheduled for Nov. 19. If convicted, the charge could come with up to seven years in prison.
