Kylie Jenner‘s 18th birthday is just around the corner, and the reality TV star has some big plans to make it a night to remember — or forget, because she’s found a way around the U.S. drinking laws.

The youngest sibling of the Kardashian-Jenner clan is headed to Montreal’s Beachclub for her birthday bash on Aug. 16 (her actual birthday is on Aug. 10), and there are plenty of reasons she’d want to party in Canada.
1. She’s getting paid to celebrate her own birthday
Who doesn’t love a good party? But getting paid to party is right up there in the list of the world’s greatest jobs. According to TMZ, Jenner will rake in between USD$100,000 and USD$200,000 just for showing up at her bash.
2. She can legally drink
Kylie can take advantage of the Canadian laws and legally drink on her birthday, whereas if she was stateside, she’d have to abide by the U.S. drinking laws, which require her to be aged 21.
And judging by the announcement on Beachclub’s website, there will be booze involved — not that that means Kylie will drink.
“Kylie Jenner will be the last of the Kardashian/Jenner clan to celebrate her 18th birthday,” the website reads. “Team Productions and Beachclub’s owner Olivier Primeau stepped up to the plate to offer Kylie the opportunity to party and drink legally at a fantastic one of a kind venue! The event will take place on August 16th 2015, and will be sure to offer many special guests and great surprises.”

3. No expense will be spared
Apparently Beachclub is pulling out all the stops for Jenner on her big day, and according to TMZ, she will arrive in a helicopter and then be transported to a luxury boat. She’ll also be able to indulge in a $3,000 birthday cake.
4. She doesn’t have to check in with long-lost relatives
Have you ever thrown a birthday bash but secretly wished half the people you invited weren’t there? Well, by having a destination birthday, Jenner gets to celebrate in style and escape all those long-lost relatives she really doesn’t want to party with.

5. Montreal is becoming a hub for celebrities
Montreal is becoming quite popular among celebrities, who love all that the city has to offer: the history, the cuisine, the nightlife and, most important, the cultural diversity. Celebs including Hugh Jackman, Jeremy Renner and Game of Thrones‘ Sophie Turner have all visited, and Jenner might be the next celeb to fall in love with this magical place.
6. It’s the perfect city for a little romance
While it must be great to surround yourself with admiring fans, if Kylie and her rumoured boyfriend, Tyga, want to slip away, there are several romantic spots in Montreal they can visit too. These include watching the sunrise in the beautiful setting of Mount Royal and exploring the Japanese Garden and Jardin Botanique.
