Gisele Bündchen‘s recent visit to a Paris plastic surgeon proves that the topic is still way too taboo, especially for celebrities.

Bündchen kept nearly her entire body hidden under a burqa to avoid recognition. But she shouldn’t have to hide.
Is anyone really surprised anymore that celebrities get plastic surgery?
And it isn’t just celebrities — the general population is more than getting in on it, whether it’s Botox or breast augmentations. Bündchen shouldn’t feel ashamed, nor should she feel like she has to be afraid of what people will say when they find out she visited a plastic surgeon.
The girl has a right to privacy. Shoving a camera in her face while she’s going to visit her doctor isn’t just a violation — it’s downright mean.

Sure, Bündchen is known as one of the most beautiful women in the world. But that doesn’t mean people have the right to know every detail of how she maintains what society dubs “perfection.” That’s a lot of pressure. And at 35 years old, Bündchen has the right to make that decision for herself if she wants to. It’s her body and her decision, and everyone should respect it and leave her alone.
Now there are all these rumors that the model checked into the facility to fix her “sagging” breasts and eyes, but that’s just speculation. The actual procedures she had are none of anyone’s business if she wants to keep that information private.
Thankfully, fans also seem to be speaking out to support Bündchen and her right to privacy.

“I couldn’t give a rat’s doo-da,” one Daily Mail commenter wrote.
“Who cares,” another chimed in.
Most agreed they couldn’t care less and, in fact, think that if Bündchen would speak up, it would lead other women to realize that even supermodels need help to maintain their looks.
#Burqa wearing #GiseleBundchen would do better to come clean about her plastic surgery! I'd respect her more for it http://t.co/8FLpqHf7gK
