By most accounts, Bobbi Kristina Brown‘s funeral went well.

A family friend described the Saturday service as “perfect” in an interview with E! News, adding that it was “like her, small and delicate,” and “simple and lovely.”
“The service was very low-key and appropriate for her and her life,” Ellin LaVar, former hairstylist to Brown’s mother, Whitney Houston, told the site. “It was beautiful.”
The service included family members like Brown’s father, Bobby Brown; her aunts, Leolah Brown, Tina Brown and Pat Houston; celebrities like Tyler Perry; Brown’s close friends and even her middle school principal, LaVar said.
But while those in attendance clearly care for Brown, they’ve had a rocky history with one another, particularly Leolah Brown and Pat Houston — Leolah has ranted about their conflicts on her Facebook page several times since Brown was hospitalized in January.

And according to LaVar and other sources, E! News reports, Brown’s two at-odds aunts weren’t able to set their differences aside during the aspiring singer’s funeral. The site says Leolah Brown became angry and confronted Pat Houston when she tried to speak at the funeral, and then stormed out early. LaVar said several people, including Perry, tried to calm Leolah down.
“She got up during the service to show her anger and her niece went over to ask her to leave and calm her down,” LaVar said. “What she was doing was inappropriate. [Perry] went over there to keep the peace.”
Later, LaVar said, Leolah was “escorted out and asked to leave.” Neither Leolah nor Pat has commented on the altercation.
