Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra invite surprising guest to their wedding

It looks like a special guest will be at Catelynn Lowell’s wedding.

With the Teen Mom star’s wedding to longtime boyfriend Tyler Baltierra just days away, the groom-to-be posted a pic to Instagram of who we assume will be a surprise guest at his wedding: his father, who has just recently been released from prison. “Look at my pops all jazzed up! First time ever being in a tux…I gotta tell ya, I really missed having him around. It’s good to have him home #ButchIsFree #PopsIsOut,” Baltierra captioned the photo of his father, Butch, wearing a tuxedo, which we can only assume was being fitted for the wedding.

Baltierra and his often-estranged father have had a strained relationship, chronicled as he appeared alongside Lowell on 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom. Butch, a Michigan native, has spent much of his son’s life in prison for various drug-related charges.

We’re excited that it looks like this important family member will be able to celebrate Baltierra’s and Lowell’s nuptials, even though Baltierra’s relationship with his father has clearly been tough to keep up. Case in point? On Father’s Day, Baltierra took to social media to write a touching tribute… to his mom.

“I just want to say Happy Fathers Day to one of the strongest, most influential people in my life… my mom,” he wrote at the time. “I did not have the luxury of having my dad around since he decided to choose drugs over his children, but mom NEVER gave up on us kids.”
