According to In Touch Weekly, a new cast member has signed on to join Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: recording artist Erika Jayne.

“She has definitely signed on to the season as a full housewife,” an insider reportedly told the magazine, adding, “Erika is excited to be part of the show. She loves that they’re going to show both sides of her life, the serious side during the day and performing in gay bars at night. It’s going to be a crazy season.”

Not too many details are available yet about the rumored new housewife, but here are five things you should know about Erika Jayne.

1. She’s from Atlanta, Georgia

Born and raised in the Peach State, Erika attended North Atlanta High School for the Performing Arts. She’s now based in Los Angeles.

2. She’s a successful recording artist

Erika entered the club music scene in 2007 with “Rollercoaster,” her first in a long list of tracks to hit No. 1 on the Billboard Dance charts. She’s known for singles like “Party People (Ignite the World)” and “Get It Tonight.” Her music has been featured in films like The Watch, The Neighbor and Deal and on the TLC reality series Toddlers and Tiaras.

3. She’s friends with Yolanda Foster

“She’s coming into the show as a friend to Yolanda and David [Foster] and has already filmed her segment for the start of the show,” In Touch‘s source dished about Erika’s entrance on RHOBH. Longtime Real Housewife Yolanda is suffering from a number of health issues, and it’s unknown how much time she’ll be able to devote to the sixth season of the show. And with both Brandi Glanville and Kim Richards off the show, there will be plenty of room for Erika to make her own mark.

5. She’s married to attorney Thomas Girardi

The 76-year-old lawyer is a founding partner of the L.A. law firm Girardi and Kees. Among the many cases he’s tried is the 1996 case against Pacific Gas and Electric that inspired the Julia Roberts film Erin Brockovich.
