Meghan Trainor reveals health condition that could change her career

Meghan Trainor has had to cancel her tour after revealing that she has a hemorrhaged vocal cord that will require surgery.

The “All About That Bass” songstress took to Instagram on Tuesday to share the sad news.

“To all my fans — I was being careful and taking precautions, but I have hemorrhaged my vocal cord again,” she explained. “I got bronchitis & have been coughing a lot & that pushed it over the edge. Sadly, I will need to cancel the remainder of my tour and get surgery to finally fix this once and for all. I am devastated, scared and so sorry.”

Fans spoke out in numbers to support Trainor on her road to recovery, even the ones who were planning on seeing her perform.

“Im so sad about this of course because you have to go threw [sic] this and also my selfish reasons.. Would of [sic] been my first concert at the mn state fair ;/ I’ve been looking forward to it since it was announced ! But I hope and pray u feel better and if you come to mn I hope I can make it :)” one commenter said.

Another added, “Prayers for you! My concert was canceled but I know you love us!”

The singer also made a personal apology to her opening acts Charlie Puth and Life of Dillon.
