According to O’Donnell’s note on her website Tuesday, her daughter was last seen Aug. 11 in New York with her black terrier dog named Bear.

O’Donnell says that Chelsea was “wearing a black sweatshirt hoodie, dark ripped blue jeans, women’s gray converse sneakers and a black backpack.”

It seems that Chelsea ran away of her own volition, since the message on her website explains, “She left the house…” O’Donnell also noted that “Chelsea stopped taking her medicine and is in need of medical attention.”

O’Donnell’s publicist noted that Chelsea suffers from a mental illness.

O’Donnell has also been using Twitter for any information, and fans and friends have come out in droves to support her.

Police are also searching for the teen in the New York area.

O’Donnell has five children. She is currently going through a heated divorce with her estranged wife Michelle Rounds. No word yet if the family drama played into Chelsea’s decision to leave the home.

UPDATE: RadarOnline has obtained texts between Chelsea and her biological mother Deanna Micoley, as well as O’Donnell and Micoley, going back months. It is clear that Micoley is desperate for a relationship with the teen, and O’Donnell is trying very hard not to come between them — but at the same time is frustrated with Micoley’s accusations of adoption fraud. Micoley said Chelsea mentioned wanting to come visit her in Wisconsin, but has not heard from her since she’s gone missing.

UPDATE: O’Donnell has announced her daughter has been found.

Det. James Coyle of South Nyack-Grand View Police Department told USA Today that officers are en route to pick up Chelsea in New Jersey and that she is in good health.
