Well, we can’t exactly say we’re surprised. Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans is facing even more legal trouble after yet another arrest, this time for allegedly assaulting her ex-fiancé’s new girlfriend.
TMZ reports that the alleged assault happened Thursday. Police told the site that Nathan Griffith, who has been engaged to Evans twice now, went to the reality star’s home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, to pick up some of his things that were still there — with his new girlfriend in tow. Rookie mistake, Nate.

Local news station WBTW News 13 said it learned from law enforcement that the alleged victim, a 29-year-old woman, said Evans threw a drinking glass at her head in an attempt to injure her. The 23-year-old Evans was arrested and charged with third-degree assault, Us Weekly reports.

The couple just confirmed their second ended engagement earlier this month, when Evans told Entertainment Tonight on Aug. 4 that she had broken it off. Their first split was back in March, when police were called to a fight between them, before they rekindled their romance in June.
Evans was previously arrested in May when police alleged that she attacked Griffith at his house and charged her with domestic violence, though she claimed at the time that he tried to run her over with his car. Prior to that, Evans was arrested in February for driving without privileges. She has a number of other arrests on her record before that incident, too.
Evans and Griffith share one son together — Kaiser, who is 13 months old — and Evans is mom to 6-year-old Jace from a previous relationship. Evans’ mom Barbara currently has custody of Jace. Teen Mom 2 documented Evans’ battle to regain custody, something she’s been trying to do for over a year.
