With Teresa Giudice currently behind bars, it’s safe to assume that her girls are all miserable, right? Turns out, that couldn’t be further from the truth. Although Gia, Milania, Audriana and Gabriella miss their mom, Teresa Aprea and Nicole Napolitano report that they’re doing just fine under Joe’s supervision. The twins recently shared several juicy details about Juicy Joe during the premiere of their brand-new podcast.
Joe Giudice may not be the world’s greatest dad, but he’s doing the best he can under the circumstances. According to RHONJ twins Teresa Aprea and Nicole Napolitano, Joe has somehow managed to keep his children’s spirits up during this difficult time.

Aprea and Napolitano had the opportunity to see the Giudice kids for themselves the other day, when they joined the family for a laid-back summer barbecue. The twins chatted at length about their recent visit with the Giudice kids on the first episode of Girls in Heels, their brand-new podcast. They admitted that they were relieved to see that, even though “Teresa’s been away,” the girls still looked “really good.” Aprea explained, “[The Giudice girls] seemed very happy… very well-adjusted.”

The twins found the surprisingly sunny attitudes of the Giudice girls especially impressive in light of the fact that Teresa (and not Joe) is currently in prison. Both seem to think that the kids could get by just fine with Joe out of the picture. Although neither sister wants to take away from Joe’s importance as a parent, the twins believe that moms are “the hands of God” and “the foundation of the family.”
The Giudice girls’ good spirits may, in part, have something to do with the limited information their parents have given them about Teresa’s sentence. Obviously, Gia is well aware of what’s going on, but the younger girls simply think that their mom is working. According to Napolitano and Aprea, this is the absolute best way to approach a very difficult situation.

In addition to talking about Joe and the girls, Teresa Aprea touched briefly on her feud with Teresa Giudice, which involved accusations of Rino Aprea cheating on his wife with his mother-in-law. Aprea was very, very offended when Teresa Giudice first hinted that there might be some truth to these rumors. Since then, however, she has decided to forgive Teresa, and not just because she’s behind bars. She just doesn’t think that this little fight is worth losing sleep over.
Aprea believes that she’s a very forgiving person, and her best way of showing it is to let the drama with Teresa Giudice go. She’s a bit concerned, however, that some of her fans on social media are still griping about the Teresa versus Teresa spat.
