The mom of four has come under the microscope, and many fans have been wondering if she will leave Josh after his latest failings although reports suggest that is unlikely. And now, a source close to Anna has given People magazine greater insight into why that might be.
Anna had a very strict, religious upbringing similar to that of the Duggars, but according to the source, Anna’s parents, Mike and Suzette Keller, “are even a little more extreme.”

“Anna and her siblings were always taught that if you follow these 10 steps or whatever, God would bless you,” the source continued, also revealing how growing up, Anna had to keep her emotions to herself.
“They always got 15-minute, one-on-one sessions with their mom every week. That was the time to share their feelings, but other than that they had to keep their feelings to themselves,” the source explained.

But why is divorce doubtful?
According to People, the source revealed divorce is highly unlikely because of the patriarchal Christianity that Anna’s in-laws and parents abide by.
“I don’t think her parents ever thought they would ever come to a situation like this,” the source said, before explaining that Rebecca, one of Anna’s eight siblings, is currently going through her own divorce. “They just don’t know what to do. They always taught their kids that divorce was never an option. They never even thought about cheating. But that’s not how life works.”
