Making her transition publicly, Caitlyn Jenner has been living out some very private moments with the cameras rolling.
It is fascinating to watch as she discovers the woman she always was as well as the woman she is becoming and wants to be. An in an exclusive sneak peek of Sunday’s episode of I Am Cait, posted by People magazine, we get to see another monumental part of what she wants from her public life as a transgender woman.

The former Olympian reluctantly and almost sheepishly admits that she would like, very much, to be treated like a “normal woman.”
She is speaking with friend and fellow trans woman Jennifer Finney Boylan. Boylan asks her what she means by “normal.” Jenner explains, “It would be very attractive to me to have a guy treat me like a woman.”

This is the first time Jenner has spoken out regarding the gender she’s most interested in post-transition. And we know it’s one question many people were wondering. We love that Boylan is quick to make sure Jenner knows, though, that she is a normal woman and that the gender of whomever she chooses as a companion does not make her any more or less feminine.
She said, “We look to men to give us self-worth. I think now that you’re in the sisterhood, you have gone through such trouble to become a woman. Don’t be a stupid one. Be a smart one.”
This moment seems so authentic, something that can be a rarity in reality television, and watching Jenner talk these things out as well as get some pretty solid advice — some advice all us ladies should probably take — is truly a touching moment.
