The Originals just released a deleted scene from Season 2 that proves Hope’s powers might already be stronger than any vampire or werewolf.
More: Grant Gustin says he’ll never play a cooler character
The clip shows Camille tucking in Baby Hope the night of Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) and Jackson’s wedding. The newly minted Mrs. Kenner arrives home just in time to say goodnight to her baby girl.
But it’s Camille who has been waiting to see Hayley.
“Hayley, I keep going over this moment in my mind,” Camille tells her. “Last night, right before the explosion on the way to the house the car’s engine stopped, like magic. I think it saved our lives. I don’t want to speculate, but Hope is part witch. Do you think she did that? Do you think she saved us?”

We don’t get to see Hayley’s reaction, but the new mama no doubt already has an inkling that Hope is on her way to becoming one powerful force to be reckoned with. And no one should be surprised. She’s practically got a little of every supernatural power within her: werewolf, vampire, witch.

Hopefully this is a good sign that we’ll learn more about Baby Hope’s powers in Season 3. It sounds like she’s capable of quite a lot, and we’ve just scratched the surface. Not to mention that she’s quite cognizant — if she did, in fact, know to save their lives from that explosion, which it’s safe to say she did. Little Hope might just be the most powerful supernatural being we’ve seen on the show yet, and she’s not even a year old. Now that’s girl power. (Sorry, I couldn’t help myself.)
