Josh Duggar is a no-show at mandatory rehab activities

Josh Duggar is MIA from required counseling sessions at the Christian rehab center he is thought to be attending, leading some to wonder if he is even there at all.

The 19 Kids and Counting star is thought to have checked into Reformers Unanimous, a faith-based rehabilitation center his parents have supported in the past. A private plane belonging to the Duggar family was seen landing in Rockford, Illinois — where Reformers is located — late at night, immediately prior to the family’s announcement he would be receiving treatment, which is the strongest evidence he went there.

But did he really?

A witness claims that Duggar was nowhere to be seen during the center’s mandatory prayer meetings at a local Baptist church, nor has he attended the required twice-weekly church services.

Josh definitely wasn’t there,” the source told Radar Online. “It was very strange.”

The center, which houses up to 40 men at once, charges a bargain-basement price of $7,500 for a six-month stay. “It is not a country club,” Tony Richardson, director of development, told People. “It is like going to college, but I don’t know if it is as nice as that.”

He refused to comment on whether Duggar is in attendance, citing confidentiality.

Meanwhile, Jill Duggar posted a plea for prayers to her family blog with a vague reference to the latest scandal to hit the family.

“August has been a busy month for us and as so many of you know it has ended on a sad note for my extended family,” she wrote. “Please do pray for our family. We are so thankful for God’s grace during difficult days.”
