The Ashley Madison hack has rocked marriages across the globe, but Kristen Taekman‘s is not going to be one of them — despite the fact that her husband is reported to have had an account with the website.

Josh Taekman previously explained he had the account as a joke between himself and his buddies, and now, friend of the couple and former The Real Housewives of New York star Heather Thomson is weighing in on the scandal.
“The Ashley Madison thing is unfortunate because Josh is completely innocent,” she told Us Weekly. “If you knew Josh the way I know him, you’d be completely like, ‘Of course he would sign up for that with his buddies!’ That’s a total Josh thing to do! He has a very fraternity side to him that I love.”

And Kristen’s support for her husband has not wavered despite the drama, something that Thomson acknowledges.
“Kristen is a trooper and taking it like a trooper,” she said. “Josh took it like a trooper [too] for the first season of the show when he was made out to look like such a douche when he’s not.”
Thomson’s comments are a stark contrast to the remarks made by one of the other RHONY cast members, Sonja Morgan, who previously revealed during an interview with the New York Post‘s Page Six that she could “see it coming” and that she “didn’t like the way he was cheating her. He chipped away at her self-esteem.” She has since changed her tune.
