Amy Duggar has always been a little outside the Duggar bubble, but soon she won’t even be a Duggar at all.
And, according to her, that can’t happen fast enough.
In a recent interview with People, Duggar said that the one thing she can’t wait for is physically signing the papers that change her last name. So we thought we’d take a look at Amy Duggar’s past, as a Duggar, in quotes.

On her relationship with Uncle Jim Bob
“I kinda get under [Jim Bob’s] skin, but he’s not going to control me, and I don’t think he wants to control me… I’m not going to change who I am to have a certain image. I’m the free spirit of the family,” Duggar exclusively told RadarOnline.
On the Duggars’ courting rules
“They have a Duggar bubble. I can’t even imagine courting like that. It works for them, and I hope to God they have successful relationships… but what if they suck at kissing? I can’t imagine not kissing to full blown ‘Let’s do it all’ in 30 seconds.”

On being “imperfect” by Duggar standards
Duggar revealed a big family secret on Instagram saying, “The tabloids are telling the truth, my mom and dad did have me out of wedlock… just because I share the Duggar name doesn’t mean my life is perfect!”
On Josh Duggar’s molestation scandal
In an exclusive interview with People, Duggar said “I didn’t know about it. It took me by surprise. I was not part of it at all. I wasn’t anywhere near any of that. I knew that he did go away for a little bit, but I didn’t know why. Honestly, I don’t even think about it. I think we’re all past it.”

On being the black sheep — with morals
“People have always called me the ‘Rebel Duggar,” Duggar told People, “but I have morals and standards.”
On leaving her Duggar surname behind
“I can’t wait to change my name! It’s going to be a great day when Dillon signs that marriage license and my last name changes. You have no idea.”
On celebrating her big day, despite the drama
