Teen Mom 2‘s Leah Messer is reportedly struggling with motherhood in a heartbreaking way for her three daughters.

According to a new report from In Touch Weekly, Messer has already had a run-in with law enforcement who were called because schoolteachers were worried about her children’s safety.

A source explained, “Cops were called after someone at her girls’ [twins Ali and Aleeah] school reported Leah to them, claiming she doesn’t put the kids in car seats. Leah is routinely late picking the girls up from school.”

But an insider also reported that when the police pulled Messer over the following day, her children were all safely restrained within the car.

The reality TV star is also being accused of improperly caring for her daughter Ali specifically, who suffers from a rare form of muscular dystrophy.

“Leah doesn’t even bring Ali’s wheelchair to school,” In Touch‘s insider added. “During a recent fire drill, Ali was unable to get out quickly and had to be assisted.”

Now, it’s important to read between the lines with these reports, which are really just rumors right now.

Most significantly, the details about why Ali didn’t have her wheelchair at school are unclear. It could be that Ali is mobile enough that she doesn’t need it all the time. As a young child, she also would probably rather not show up at school with a wheelchair, and it could be that to help her blend in with the other students, the family generally leaves it at home.

Messer also isn’t the only parent in this situation. She was previously married to Corey Simms, Ali and Aleeah’s father, who should also be sharing in the school responsibilities.

She also has another daughter, Adalynn, with her other ex, Jeremy Calvert.

Do you think these reports about Leah Messer’s neglectful behavior are justified?
