Reese Witherspoon and her 16-year-old daughter look uncannily alike (PHOTO)

Reese Witherspoon said Happy Birthday to her little girl with the cutest now-and-then tribute posted to her Facebook page on Wednesday.

And the side-by-side photo literally had me doing a double and triple take trying to tell if the “now” photo of the then-and-now shot was Witherspoon or her daughter.

She captioned the photo, “My sweet girl turns 16 today! I am so blessed to have such a kind, compassionate, brilliant, artistic, all-around wonderful daughter who makes me a better person everyday [sic]. I [heart] you Ava!!!” She also threw in a few party hats and a cake images for good measure, because what is a Happy Birthday post without the right emojis?

First of all, her daughter is a gorgeous young woman.

Second, it is literally unbelievable how much her daughter looks like Witherspoon. Uncanny doesn’t even begin to describe it.

Fans are thoroughly impressed by the pair’s likeness as well. One person commented, “Omgoodness [sic] I thought this was you… she’s so beautiful happy birthday to her…”

Another said, “She is your twin!”

All in all, fans entirely agree she is a beautiful girl and everyone was wishing her a happy sweet 16.
