Chrissy Teigen takes a stand in the fat-shaming debate, and she’s leaving no room for misinterpretation about her opinion.
Teigen, who is busy promoting her new talk show with Tyra Banks called FABLife, spoke with People and expressed her opinion of YouTube star Nicole Arbour’s viral video that claims fat shaming isn’t actually a thing.

“Yes, Nicole, there is such a thing as fat shaming,” Teigen said, “and you’re doing it right now.”
Teigen also added that the attention Arbour is getting for the video is equally as disappointing.
“We’ve just given her this platform to feel like her opinion does matter, and so no matter if we’re talking negatively about it or positively, she’s winning. So that’s the worst part about it. Also, why just be mean unnecessarily?”
Teigen also pointed out that advertisers are jumping on the video to monetize it without considering the harmful message.

Arbour’s six-minute rant, called “Dear Fat People,” has been viewed nearly 3 million times. In the video, Arbour bashes fat people, saying fat shaming is like “playing the race card with no race.”
“This has just made her head even bigger somehow,” Teigen said about the video. “And she really, on her Twitter and social media, she is living for this moment.”
