In my opinion, Season 4 of Grimm proved to be the show’s best season yet. With every episode came new twists and turns that were both shocking and exciting. For example, take Juliette’s death in the finale. Did anyone expect that? Absolutely not. With that said, does this mean Nick’s supposed one true love is actually gone for good?

Fans might be thinking, “There’s no way Juliette is really dead.” Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but based on the Season 5 promo shared below (which shows Juliette in a coffin) and several interviews with the creators, it seems like Juliette is really dead.
It’s hard to believe when any TV show kills off a main character, especially one that is supposed to end up with another main character. Ever since the beginning of Grimm, Nick and Juliette were set up to be the endgame — or so it seemed. Granted, they had their many issues, including Nick being a Grimm who hunts Wesen, all while Juliette had to deal with being turned into a Hexenbiest.
Anyways, it seems like the show’s creators, David Greenwalt and James Kouf, never had the intention of Nick and Juliette getting their happily ever after. During Comic-Con 2015, Juliette’s death was seemingly confirmed. Greenwalt simply told the audience, “No,” after being asked if there was a chance she could return.
If that isn’t enough, both Greenwalt and Kouf chatted with TVLine after the Season 4 finale and said the following about Juliette’s death: “Juliette’s dead.” They also added, “She’s gone.” Well, based on their answers and the promo, it sure looks like Juliette is dead and gone.

However, when it comes to TV and supernatural shows, I never take anything at face value until I see it for myself. With that said, I still believe there’s a good chance Juliette could be resurrected. I mean, fans of Grimm have seen crazier things happen, so don’t be surprised if Juliette rises from the dead.
If Juliette could come back from that spell Adalind cast on her, lose her memories, regain her memories, give Nick back his Grimm powers, become a Hexenbiest and start working with the villains, I wouldn’t give up on Juliette coming back to life. But, hey, don’t take my word for it.
Grimm returns Friday, Oct. 30 at 9/8c on NBC.
