1. Her fiancé is much older
Brown, 19, is engaged to Caleb Brush, 28, a mining equipment repairman.
2. The Browns approve
Brush asked Kody for permission to marry his daughter, which he granted, and sister wives Meri, Robyn and Christine tweeted their support for the couple.
3. She now lives with him in Montana
After completing her first year at Utah State University, where she was a member of Kappa Delta, Brown moved to Montana to live with Brush. When asked on Instagram if she would be returning to USU, she replied she would not be coming back this year.
4. It’s not clear how long they’ve been together
We don’t know when Brown and Brush met, but in retrospect, her joyful tweet on July 11 is most likely about their relationship.
Brush made his first official appearance on her Twitter timeline on July 28.

5. They love the outdoors
Brush proposed to Brown during an ATV outing, and she told People they’re planning an outdoor wedding. The couple also had some furry guests at their engagement photo shoot.
6. They won’t be living plural marriage
In 2012, Maddie spoke about her desire to live differently from her parents, declaring that a polygamous marriage wouldn’t make her happy. Brush, in an interview with People, affirmed that the couple would be marrying just each other, but that they remain supportive of the Browns’ lifestyle.
