We’re going to stop running into the walls at all the train stations, hoping that Platform Nine and Three-Quarters will suddenly take us from our Muggle existence to a magical portal of witchcraft and wizardry — because we’ve found a new activity to pass our time.

Harry Potter is getting its first official colouring book, and can we just say “excited” is an understatement?
Here’s what you can expect: 96 magical pages complete with artwork from the Warner Bros. archive. Which means fans will be able to colour in some of the most popular scenes, including Quidditch games and the epic final battle between Harry Potter and he who shall not be named.

But since we aren’t sure exactly what other creatures and characters are going to be contained in this spell-working book, we’ve decided to mention some of our favourites. If you’re listening, author, please ensure that these are in there.
It will be with great enthusiasm that we colour in Ron Weasley’s ginger locks.

And perfect every strand of Professor Dumbledore’s very impressive (but not terribly stylish) beard.
We also loved the scene when Harry Potter was bombarded by letters of acceptance to Hogwarts — we wish J.K. Rowling would write us that many.
And who else loved the part where Dobby was set free with the sock? He’s not the prettiest of creatures, but he’d put our artistic prowess to the test.
We’d make that sorting hat scene come to life — imagine if Harry was in Slytherin?
And lastly, the moment we wished Quidditch was real and we could get our hands on a Golden Snitch.
You can discover all the magic this colouring book has to offer on Nov. 24. Yes, we know it’s a long time to wait, but at least it’s payday (because we’ll be wanting to buy more than one).
