With a prison sentence that’s nearly 15 months long, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice has, and will, miss her fair share of family functions this year. But this week’s had to sting. Teresa’s daughter, Audriana Giudice, celebrated her sixth birthday on Monday. Without her mom.
Before she went to jail, no doubt, the mom of four was well aware that she’d miss various functions, rites of passage and milestones for her daughters. But that can’t make things any easier. Like any mother, Teresa likely spent the day thinking about little Audriana on her birthday; it’s sad that she couldn’t be there to celebrate with her.
However, Teresa will be happy to know that her second youngest had what looks like an absolutely beautiful day, thanks to loving members of her family and friends.

Teresa’s sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, posted a beautiful photo of her nieces, children, husband and in-laws to Instagram during the celebration. As you can see, Audriana is surrounded by a giant bouquet of pink balloons; not one, but two cakes (one Frozen-themed, duh); cupcakes; and so many people who love her. She looks incredibly happy and like she had a great day.
Adorable, right? It’s so nice to see that Audriana is enjoying her day, despite not being with her mom. I’m sure there were moments where she was sad, but overall, it looks like things went as well as they possibly could.

Another guest at little Audriana’s party was her mama’s good friend, Dina Manzo. Manzo posted this adorable photo of Audriana — who, we can now see, was dressed up like Elsa (what 6-year-old isn’t?). With her sparkly dress, shimmery crown and pretty jewelry, she looks exactly like any child should look at their birthday party: happy!

Clearly, someone is taking good care of Audriana on her special day. That right there looks like a brand-new dress, and going off of the fact that the tiara is still totally intact, I’d say her crown is new, too. Teresa will likely see these precious photos the next time she sees her family — and, like any mom, she’ll be so happy to see that her daughters are in good hands.
Next month, we’ll see how the Giudice family is coping when the three-part Bravo special, TheReal Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa Checks In, airs. From the looks of things, they’re OK — for the kids at least, which is the most important part.

I’m sure Teresa — and her family — is incredibly eager to complete her sentence and get back to living life with her kids. And when she gets out, I’m sure she’ll be beyond happy to see that her children, despite missing her, were OK while she was gone.
