The Hollywood Reporter had the fantastic idea of recreating some of the most popular and classic TV series, with the help of the Modern Family cast. The idea is part of the publication’s special feature for the Emmy issue titled Hollywood’s 100 Favorite Shows.

Below are the six recreations — and they’re bound to make you smile.
1. Married With Children
While growing up, we loved Married With Children. It gave us endless laughs, and in some ways, it was pretty relatable. Perhaps that’s why we are so impressed with the Modern Family version of it. Say hello to the new (and old) Peg and Al Bundy, played by Sofía Vergara and Ed O’Neill (who revisited his former role).
“My dream was getting Ed O’Neill to reprise his Married With Children character, Al Bundy, with his current co-star Sofía Vergara as Peg Bundy,” The Hollywood Reporter‘s special projects editor Stacey Wilson Hunt said.
2. Julie Bowen as Mary Tyler Moore
The resemblance between these two is actually quite uncanny.
“I worship Mary Tyler Moore and I think that was one of the original, great shows about a girl, a woman having a voice in the city and she was funny and she was smart and she was all sorts of different things,” Bowen exclaimed.

3. Cheers
Forget the cast of Cheers as you remember them from the ’80s and say hello to Ty Burrell as Norm, Jesse Tyler Ferguson as Cliff, Ariel Winter as Carla (we’re loving that Afro on her) and Nolan Gould as Woody.
4. Breaking Bad
Perhaps our favorite out of all of these recreations is Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet’s creation of Bryan Cranston’s drug dealer character Walter White, and Aaron Paul’s Jesse Pinkman.
But this video is like no White or Pinkman you’ve ever seen, thanks to its hilarious, theatrical twist.

5. I Dream of Jeannie
Behold the most magical video: I Dream of Jeannie with Sarah Hyland as the scantily clad genie, Jeannie (she actually looks pretty unrecognizable), and Nolan Gould as Major Nelson.
“It’s so exciting, because this is a show I grew up watching,” Hyland revealed. “I watched it every morning and I just loved Jeannie so much. I loved her outfit and I loved her positive attitude” — well, we love the recreation.
6. Fraiser
Did we save the best for last? Meet the new cast of Fraiser: Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet and Ariel Winter as Nile and Frasier Crane, and Daphne Moon. And Modern Family‘s French Bulldog, Stella, even makes an appearance as Eddie.
