The news of the couple’s split hit the news this week — which is alleged to have come about after a fight during Labor Day weekend — but to add salt to Gosselin’s wounds, rumors then surfaced claiming her ex-husband, Jon Gosselin, had thrown shade at her after her breakup.
Jon reportedly took to his private Facebook account upon hearing the news and posted a “praising celebration hands” emoji. But although this did happen, it’s actually not what you think, because the account is fake.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Jon revealed that he is not about to trash Kate online.
“I have teenage kids now who are on social media,” Gosselin told ET, adding that he does have two Facebook accounts, one public and one private. “They read everything, and the last thing I’m going to do is trash their mother.”
He went on to reveal that he gets really annoyed when he sees people posting ridiculous things on fake accounts (which often results in fans being confused).

While Kate and Jon might not be on the best terms since their split, it’s good to know they don’t intend to air their dirty laundry all over social media.
